Monday, 8/19
Back on the road from Oakland CA: up through Nevada,
then Oregon (check off another State!)
Stop for the night in Pocatello, ID.
Mary Ann's at time of departure. (remember, date-stamp is Eastern time)
Nevada
Donner Pass; Nevada line; Reno.
Citroen 2CV on the Interstate!
Oregon
They sure went all out with the "Welcome to Oregon", didn't they?
"Open Range Next 120 miles" about says it all!
This is a joke, right? I guess it's all relative...
Note: in 121 miles of Oregon, I never saw a single Oregon plate on a vehicle.
This was the most desolate stretch of road I saw in the entire country!
