This was my 3rd year at this great, and growing, event. Many thanks to Sue and Doug Kiry, directors of the event, Mike Kaminski, the very much hands-on 4th generation owner of the beautiful Chula Vista Resort, and his Director of Special Events, Ed Saari, for their hospitality!
Once again, they allowed me to do a 50/50 for the
American Cancer Society which this year produced $933.00!

Original owner '63
How cool is this: Steve Stone bought this '63 convert new when he was 18. At the time of this Corvette Adventures weekend he had racked up 502,000 miles on it. He told me that almost nothing on the car is "original", but he still has the original engine stored away. He has driven it through all of the contiguous 48 states, and EVERY Canadian province! A lot of the miles were actually track time!

Mike Kaminski did the honors, drawing the winner of my 50/50 for the American Cancer Society.
The pot was an amazing $1866.00, so the winner received $933.00 and I sent the ACS office
in Madison WI the remaining $933.00.
Thank you Mike, Ed, Sue and Doug for another terrific event!
