Hebert's Candy Mansion
September 25, 2005
Although it is put on by the Corvettes
United of Central Mass club, this event is a mixed show, not a Corvettes
It is actually the season wrap-up and awards meet for the weekly
Cruise Nights the club hosts at Hebert's all summer.
The rather chilly and
threatening weather and another mixed show in the area took their toll, so
attendance was way down from previous years. Still, the ones who came out were
an outstanding collection of street rods, muscle cars, classics and antiques.
Corvettes United has since sent
me a check to
American Cancer Society for $401.25,
representing half of
total proceeds from both the June and September shows.
Thank You Corvettes United!
Leaving home Saturday afternoon for a great
overnight visit with my
daughter and her husband in Bedford, MA.
This is a pleasant change from the usual 6:00am
The American Cancer Society's New England Div.
office in Framingham,
as seen from the Mass Pike.
The banner is promoting the
breast cancer walks to be held Oct. 16.
A sampling of the variety of sights at the show
The light turnout made for an early conclusion
Unusual to get home before dark!
